Description
Flat dike loop following the south bank of the Lek from Schoonhoven eastward, with long uninterrupted dike sections and open river views. The return leg crosses north via Vianen and comes back west through the Eiland van Schalkwijk and Lopik polder.
Route character summary
A flat, readable loop with consistent dike road quality and few interruptions. Rhythm is strongest on the Lekdijk sections between towns.
